SMRC Awarded NOAALink Task Order with Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory

SM Resources Corporation (SMRC) was awarded its 5th NOAALink task order supporting the Oceanic and Atmospheric Research (OAR), Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory (AOML). AOML conducts scientific research that studies hurricanes, extreme weather, climate health, coastal ecosystems, and physical oceanography. SMRC was awarded the NOAALink IDIQ Contract in December 2016, which serves as the premier IT Services Vehicle at NOAA.

SMRC will be providing IT support services working with AOML’s Oracle databases using a customized based JavaEE front end based on the Vaadin framework and Vaadin CDI. SMRC will aid in modifying the development and production infrastructure currently in operation at OAR/AOML to accept and process internal management control actions from multiple Financial Management Centers. These services will be provided for 3 years at the OAR Atlantic and Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory located in Miami, Florida.

According to SMRC CEO, Neelu Modali, SMRC is excited to aid in the development of these new programs and incorporate them into the NOAA framework.
