SMRC Awarded Federal Contract by DHS FEMA, Value $8,982,298



Lanham, Maryland August 9, 2010 – S M Resources Corporation (SMRC) has been awarded it’s largest contract to date by Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in the amount of $8,982,298.

On this contract, SMRC will be providing “Medical Support Services” to the Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP), part of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). SMRC will be providing various medical services, including occupational health and medical surveillance, laboratory operations to conduct Red Blood Cell (RBC) Cholinesterase (ChE) testing, evaluation and stabilization of injured CDP employees and students, emergency stabilization and transport of students, contractors and federal staff resulting from an exposure to Toxic Chemical or Biological Agent(s) at the Chemical Ordinance Biological Radiological Training Facility (COBRATF) and relocation of other medical emergencies to a local area medical facility. The government site is located in Anniston, Alabama.
