SMRC Sponsors Loudoun County Public Schools Regional Science & Engineering Fair

Ashburn, Virginia February 28, 2011 – S M Resources Corporation (SMRC), in an effort to support and promote science and technology education, is sponsoring the Loudoun County Regional Science & Engineering Fair. SMRC will be sponsoring 11 Aspiring Scientist Awards. The Aspiring Scientist Award is awarded to 9th or 10th grade students. The award recognizes younger students science research accomplishments and seeks to encourage them to continue their research during their junior and senior years in high school. The Aspiring Scientist awards are monetary awards of $100 each.

The Loudoun County RSEF is held on Thursday March 17, 2011 at Woodgrove High School in Purcellville, Virginia. The fair opens to the public at 6:00 PM with the awards ceremony at 7:00 PM.
