SMRC Awarded 5-Year, $3.2m Support Services Contract



SMRC selected by United States Patent and Trademark Office

Ashburn, VA, July 2, 2012 –The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has awarded SMRC a $3.2 million prime contract that calls for the company to deliver support services to the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO).

“This contract represents SMRC’s future as much as it demonstrates our past success,” said SMRC’s President and CEO, Neelu Modali. “I always envisioned a company that would help the U.S. Government increase it international competitive posture through science, technology, and engineering. The USPTO prime contract was awarded on June 20, begins on July 1, and offers the possibility of five years of sustained support services. SMRC will facilitate technical processing requirements and help leadership discover and implement process improvements, operational efficiencies, and cost savings.
